1986
The very birth of the PUNCH brand, which became a group-wide name a few years later, took place in 1986.
2012
After focusing on automotive activities, the Belgian company bought the former General Motors plant in Strasbourg under the name PUNCH Powerglide Strasbourg SAS in January 2013.
2018
In 2018, Mr. Guido Dumarey obtained the patents and activities of Flybrid in the United Kingdom. Subsequently, it was renamed PUNCH Flybrid, which currently specializes in kinetic energy recovery systems for use in the automotive and off-road industries.
2019
In June 2019, PUNCH opens the PUNCH Campus and PUNCH Precision in Detva, a new state-of-the-art industrial park on a green meadow with an area of 100,000 m2.
2020
In February 2020, the Belgian PUNCH Group acquired a plant in Torino called PUNCH Torino. More than 700 highly qualified engineers and technicians are working to develop a new generation of diesel engines and low-fuel control elements and new advanced propulsion systems.
